Vendome vintage silver tone braided fashion necklace. This necklace is very thick, triple braided to withstand lots of wear. The color is luminous, I believe this is rhodium which is what Vendome made many of the fashion pieces from. Rhodium wears much like silver but is not as soft, and is inert to corrosion and chemicals.
Operated as a subsidiary of Coro, Vendome was a high-quality line that succeeded Corocraft. Vendome was in business from 1944 to 1979.
This measures 36" long, can be worn doubled or as a single strand.
Condition is excellent ready for use. A perfect necklace for daily wear yet elegant enough for that little black dress.
