Very elegant and ornate vintage pastry/dessert server made in India - solid brass with silver plating. This piece is gorgeous - very solid for many serving needs. Silver plate over brass wears much better than nickle or other metals and tends to tarnish far less. This piece has been polished and is ready for use. A nice large server measuring 11.25" in length, the serving area is 3" wide and 5" in length.
