Carol Dauplaise retro mod star brooch/pin and earrings. The brooch is large and in charge - Disco era jewelry! The color is a brassy goldtone and very textured. Back has a c-clasp closure. The earrings resemble a rope, the lower portion dangles with a post for pierced ears. This is a fun set, in excellent condition the only notable wear is to the back of the earrings which shows very mild plate wear. The large brooch can also be put on a ribbon or chain to be worn as a necklace. Dauplaise jewelry is sold in upscale department stores such as Saks and Macy's - this is an older set from the late 70's early 80's.
