Bright green and yellow bakelite was used to create this end of the day bangle bracelet. This is a real head turner - Chunky- thick, nice and wide with lots of dazzling color! A very heavily marbled design, creating the look of lime green watercolor.

Bakelite was one of the first plastics made from synthetic components, very popular in the late 30s and 40s. End of the day bakelite was created using remnant color batches from the day which were then swirled together (hence the marbling) creating unique one of a kind items.
