Sarah Coventry vintage necklace/pendant- Limited Edition Mythology Cross 1978 on a 24" goldtone link chain. Inspired by the ancient crafts of hand painted porcelain. The Grecian's were noted for perfecting the concept of showing jet black fields with painted or etched designs. The Mythology cross was inspired by the early revolution of ceramics. The hand polished luster of the 18kt gold leaf pattern is placed on a genuine porcelain cross, combining the skill of the ancient crafts with the art of modern jewelry design. This design was only available through Dec 13, 1978, at which time the mold was broken.
